Partner With Our Ministry

Would you partner with our ministry?

Discipleship Center huts

We request your prayers, and if possible, please - a contribution towards renovation of our property in Soroti.

You will understand, especially if you have followed our newsletters, that Pastor Isaac Oyako's heart and burden is for training churches throughout Uganda. In recent years he has been traveling up and down and across the country conducting seminars in various locations. But the travel has made life stressful and hectic.

Revival Time Ministry already owns a property just 5 km from Soroti since 1997. At that time they put up temporary housing with some huts - sufficient to handle about 30 people, and used it as a discipleship training base for about ten years. Then, about 2007, Pastor Okayo began to accept engagments to conduct his teaching seminars in other locations.

The solultion seems so obvious. Why not improve the property, expand it to hold about 50 people, and invite others to come attend the Discipleship training right there? Pastor Isaac will be able to give his own specific curriclulm and focus. Sometimes for pastors, evangelists, and sometimes for women, and then other times, for youth leaders.

The Teaching Hall has to be built up.

A chain link fence put around the perimeter for security.

Solar panels and water tanks need to be installed.

The pit latrines and bathrooms need to be renovated.

Share in the Lord's Work

We know that you may be on the other side of the world from Uganda. We cannot expect you to come do this work for us. Besides, God has already burdened us to reach out to our countrymen and share the gospel, and also train those who become Believers to walk in the power of Christ, in a path of discipleship.

If the pages of this website waken within you a similar call of the Holy Spirit to see this happen, we invite you to partner with our ministry, Revival Time Ministry to get it done.

You Choose the Amount to Give

You see, we lack the funds to do the work. So we are handicapped at some points, and seriously limited in some of our efforts. We could do so much more if we had petrol (gas) for our vehicle, or if we could afford repairs when the car breaks down, and if we could pay for more printings of our Discipleship book.

We could hand out food to the starving, and we could help women in crisis who are suddenly thrust into the role of solo parent and must find a way to earn a living for their children. We have so many plans for a Training Centre, to give both Bible and employment training. We also have young girls in their teens who have been cast out of their home, and would have to live on the street and prostitute themselves to stay alive, if we did not take them in. We work hard to send them to school so they may have the dignity of employment so that they will be able to support themselves.

School is not a government sponsored "given" here in Uganda. Secondary schools, (i.e. high school) and colleges are private institutions, and it costs money to send these girls to school. Not as much perhaps, as a private school in North America or Europe or Australia, but $500 a year is a huge amount to most Ugandan families.

When we consider that this may sound like we are begging with our hands out, we are hesitant to speak for the shame of it. On the other hand, Revival Time Ministry has a GREAT BIG DOOR open to win many hearts to faith in Christ, and to teach them to walk in the Light of His Word, by the power of the Holy Spirit. At the same time, we see in God's Word that they who provide resources and look after the Stuff (resources) while the King's men are in the Battle (as we read in the story of King David in 1 Samuel 30, are considered equal partners. As David said,

The share of the man who stayed with the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to the battle. All will share alike. (1 Samuel 30:24 NIV)

If you will help us with resources to do the spiritual work, you shall surely share in the eternal rewards that our mutual King Jesus will give at the Great White Throne. You shall be considered an equal partner in this work!

A Gift for You - if You Share $100

So why do you worry about clothing - Matt.6-28.jpg

You may be used to receiving income tax deductable receipts for your charitable giving. This does not work in Uganda. So we want to offer to send you a thank you gift if you send a donation of $100 or more. This will change from time to time, but it will be a lovely photograph, measuring about 8 x 10 inches with a Bible verse on it. (It can be laminated upon request).

We have appointed Ruth Marlene Friesen, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, to be our Authorized Agent, for fund-raising on this website, and she will receive and forward the donations to us, and send you this thank you gift.

[See the selection on this Scripture Pictures page.]

For your gift of $100 we will send you this lovely Scripture Sign as a thank you gift!

Can You Give Even More?

(We hope soon to have another gift ready, made in Uganda, that will be sent to those who sense - and obey - the prompting of the Lord, to send a larger gift of $1000 or more.

Are you able to help in a bigger way? $1000?

May God bless you according to your own needs, and your generous and sweet spirit of giving!

If you prefer, you may send your funds via World Remit directly to Isaac Peter Oyako. You should contact first to ask privately for his email address and/or bank account details for a direct deposit.
