The School Ministry

We are working in ten secondary schools in Eastern Uganda to provide Training for Christian students leadership. In this pilot program, we have chosen;
Teso College
Ngora High School
Ngora Girls School
Nabumali High School
Bukhedi College Kachonga
Tororo College
Tororo Girls' School
MM College Wairaka
Busoga College Mwiri
Kiira College Butiki.

In the above schools, we are doing the following:
(i) Capacity building for Christian teachers. We recognize the fact that teachers have the most rare opportunity to influence children, yet in most times they are not aware of that opportunity. Here, we organize a workshop for Born Again Christian teachers once a year during the longest School holiday in January. In the workshop we touch various issues including evangelism, discipleship, prayer, child discipline in relation to global contemporary challenges, etc. We also consider the unique opportunities and challenges facing each school as well as national and international threats against Christian morals in educational institutions around the world.

(ii) We offer comprehensive discipleship package for students leaders in the above schools. We do that by inviting them to our base in Soroti during long school holidays. Parents have been very cooperative in working with us to achieve this goal. The curriculum for student leaders incorporates spiritual discipline and development of sustainable life purpose and vision.
