No Separation Anxiety - Ever!
Psalm 16:11 "You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand."
Now there is something to look forward to! I too, feel that God has shown me the path of life - eternal life, and there in Heaven God will fill me with joy in His presence. Joy like I've never known before! My pleasures will be there at His right hand, but they will be enjoyed with Him for eternity!
I guess it is these eternal pleasures we should keep uppermost in our mind and look forward to more than any earthly ones, right?
Have you really thought much about it before?
When we are in Heaven with the Lord Jesus, we will be filled with joy - to the max! No joy on earth will compare to seeing Him and being with Him, never having to leave again!
Parting from a loved one is such devastating sorrow! But Jesus will see to it that we are never separated from Him – ever again!
Sometimes we hesitate to love someone because we fear that we will lose them in the future and if we've been burned once before we are afraid to set ourselves up for another separation.
But look, Jesus, who is the essence of Truth (He said, I am truth), has promised never to leave us or forsake us in this world where we walk by faith, not by sight, and in Heaven we'll be living in the same home!
PRAYER: Oh Lord Jesus, it is okay then to let ourselves go and to love You with utter abandon and delight! We shall never have separation anxiety in Heaven. Even now, You have promised never to leave or forsake us! If only we walk in the Spirit and believe it, we can taste Your permanent presence.
Ah-h! How comforting! Thank You, Jesus!
