I've Seen God's Face and Shout for Joy

Job 33:23-28
"Yet if there is an angel on his side
as a mediator, one out of a thousand,
to tell a man what is right for him,
to be gracious to him and say,
'Spare him from going down to the pit;
I have found a ransom for him' -
then his flesh is renewed like a child's;
it is restored as in the days of his youth.
He prays to God and finds favor with him,
he sees God's face and shouts for joy;
he is restored by God to his righteous state.
Then he comes to men and says,
'I sinned, and perverted what was right,
but I did not get what I deserved.
He redeemed my soul from going down to the pit,
and I will live to enjoy the light.
'"

I have found a poem here in Job. It is a salvation story, including a great testimony to God's mercy and grace. It is also an interesting plot for a storybook!

I see that after that ransom is paid/received, this man (or woman) has health restored, and is able to pray to God and find favour with Him, and see His face, and shout for joy. He is restored to his righteous (intended) state, and he can go to people and testify that he has been redeemed, and kept from going down to the pit of hell, and will live to enjoy the light.

Question is, is this also my testimony? Yours? Can you or I say, “I've seen God's face,” and shout for joy?

PRAYER: Oh Lord, I would like this to be my testimony too. I believe it is, except that I am not this enthusiastic about sharing it with others. Help me to grasp how great a thing it is to be forgiven and restored by You. I want to be so enthused about Your work in my life that shouts of joy erupt out of me when I tell people about my salvation. Glory to Your name! Amen.
